<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the correct input of characters in a state approximate to a pen writing state without using a tablet, by providing a tilt means which detects the operating state of a pen and plural detectors which detect the tilt of of the tilt means at the side of the pen point. CONSTITUTION:When pen is driven in a specific direction on a plane, a ball 2 rolls in the direction opposite to the pen driving direction. As a result, a pin 3 tilts in the pen driving direction and therefore a mirrow 4 tilts in response to the pen driving direction. The tilt of the pin 3 is stopped at the critical position of a compressed spring 5 and the mirror 4 is kept at a specific angle. The the mirror 4 reflects the light of a certain specific optical fiber 9i (i=1-2<n>) to a receiving optical fiber 7 set at the center of the mirror 4. The light delivered from the fiber 9i is received by plural detectors and these detectors are periodically scanned. Then the operating state of the pen is detected by said scanning timing.</p> |
