The present invention relates to a method for managing personal information in a communication system capable of providing a converged address book service (CAB) comprising: a process of generating the restoration request of a personal document stored in the CAB by enabling a CAB user to use random apparatus; and a process of transmitting the restoration request to a server which manages the CAB. The restoration request includes information for indicating restoration which restores the current version of the personal document, the restoration number of the personal document. The current version of the personal document is converted into the previous version.
