PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable connection structure that makes it possible to align an optical fiber and an optical element by a simple configuration without damaging the optical fiber.SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable connection structure 100 according to the invention comprises: a substrate 2 with a through-hole 10; a face light emission laser 3 mounted such that a light emitting part 11 faces the substrate 2; an optical fiber cable 1 mounted on the reverse side of the mounting face of the face light emission laser 3 of the substrate 2, the end face of the optical fiber cable 1 being covered with a jacket 6; a guide positioning part 4 holding the optical fiber cable 1 by inserting it into an insertion fitting hole 15, and aligning the face light emission laser 3 and optical fiber cable 1 to each other; and a butting part 20 positioning the face light emission laser 3 and optical fiber cable 1 at predetermined distances by fixing the peripheral part of the end face of the optical fiber cable 1 by use of an aperture formed in a tapering shape. |
