PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror support structure that is able to prevent breakage due to load during launching while restricting rigid body motion of a reflecting mirror and reducing weight increase.SOLUTION: A mirror support structure comprises: a support part configured such that six support legs 2a and 2b, one end of each of which is fixed to a reflecting mirror 1 and the other of each of which is fixed to a support base 10, are formed in three pairs of support legs 3, and set such that the axial intersection 6 of the two support legs 2 of each of the three pairs of support legs 3 is located in the reflecting mirror 1 and the six support legs 2 are arranged on the same circle around the center point of the reflecting mirror 1; and a first partial reinforcement blocks 9 each of which is provided in the first partial area for each of the three pairs of support legs 3 including the joining points 8a and 8b, in the two areas, of the reflecting mirror 1 and the two support legs 2 of the three pairs of support legs 3 in the reflecting mirror 1, and also including their axial intersection 6, and which has a structure greater in strength than the internal structure of the reflecting mirror 1 in an area other than the partial area of the reflecting mirror 1. |
