BOILER EXHAUST GAS CLEANING METHOD IN THERMAL POWER GENERATION SYSTEM AND THERMAL POWER GENERATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal power generation system capable of improving cleaning performance of boiler exhaust gas by cooling the boiler exhaust gas without complexing operation control of the thermal power generation system.SOLUTION: When boiler exhaust gas is cooled in order to improve cleaning performance of the boiler exhaust gas, thermal energy recovered from the boiler exhaust gas is finally cast off to a cooling system of a steam condenser of a thermal power generation system. Further preferably, a system for performing power generation by means of a Rankine cycle or a Kalina cycle by using heat recovered from the boiler exhaust gas is added and the heat energy recovered when an operation medium of the Rankine cycle or the Kalina cycle is cooled is cast off to the cooling system of the steam condenser of the thermal power generation system.
