PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine, capable of suppressing metal corrosion of an addition valve caused by boiling of a reducing agent in the addition valve.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine includes: a urea-water addition valve for supplying urea water to an exhaust passage; and a urea-water supply pipe for supplying the urea water to the urea-water addition valve. A controller executes collection control (a step S14) of collecting the urea water in the urea-water supply pipe when a second exhaust temperature TH2 on an upstream side of a selective reduction type NOx purification catalyst is determined to be equal to or higher than a reference temperature (a step S11: YES). |
