PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an inconvenience of a conventional television set when a pair of speakers are provided to the television set to produce stereo sounds, because even if the posture of the television set is inverted upside down and an image displayed on a liquid crystal display unit is also inverted upside down, sounds produced by the speakers are still reversed horizontally, and when stereo sounds are produced, the audience feels discomfort.SOLUTION: Sound production channel switching means is provided that switches sound production channels of speakers such that in a state of a pair of speakers producing stereo sounds comprising a right channel sound and a left channel sound, a right side speaker of a liquid crystal display unit viewed from the liquid crystal display will produce the right channel sound and a left side speaker the left channel sound in the same manner in conjunction with switching of up and down of an image. |
