PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack in which performance degradation due to carbon dioxide is reduced over a long term, without lowering the system efficiency of an alkaline fuel cell, and to provide a fuel cell system.SOLUTION: The alkaline fuel cell power generation system includes an alkaline fuel cell stack using a liquid fuel containing an organic compound, a fuel supply line for supplying the liquid fuel from a fuel tank to the fuel cell stack, and a fuel recovery line for recovering the exhaust fuel discharged from the anode of the fuel cell stack to the fuel tank. The alkaline fuel cell power generation system is further provided with carbon dioxide removing means for removing carbon dioxide dissolved in the exhaust fuel discharged from the anode of the fuel cell stack. The carbon dioxide removing means includes means for discharging bubbles in the cathode exhaust gas into the solution of the exhaust fuel, or means for ejecting droplets of the exhaust fuel into the cathode exhaust gas. |
