PURPOSE:To simply input to rotate and shift a graphic to a desired direction by keeping a similarity relationship between manual operation of an operator and a graphic on display. CONSTITUTION:A rotary plate 3 in provided on a pedestal 1 rotatably around an axial line L1. A supporting arm 5 is erected on the rotary plate 3 at a position biased to the axial line L1. A handle 7 is attached to the tip of the arm 5 through a universal joint mechanism 6 having axial lines L2-L4 intersecting at right angles to each other on the axial line L1. Thereby, it becomes possible to maintain a similarity relationship between manual operation of an operator and a graphic on display. Further, rotation detectors P1-P4 that detect direction and amount of rotation are provided between members that rotate mutually in the pedestal 1, arm 5 and mechanism 6. Thus, inputting for rotating and shifting a graphic to desired direction can be performed simply.
