PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process controller capable of easily evaluating controllability when replacing an existing system with a new system, and a system.SOLUTION: A process controller 20 includes a hypervisor 22 operating in place of hardware on hardware 21, a first control unit (operating system 23a and application 24a) and a second control unit (operating system 23b and application 24b) operating on the hypervisor 22 to control operations of a plurality of field devices 10, an input distribution unit 41 provided in the hypervisor 22 to distribute signals from the field devices 10 to the first and second control units, and an output acquisition unit 42 provided in the hypervisor 22 to acquire outputs of the first and second control units and output either output to at least one field device among the plurality of field devices 10. |
