PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device having a main lip and a dust lip, in which, even if dust passes through the dust lip and intrudes into a space part between both lips, the intruding dust hardly reaches a lip end of the main lip and deterioration of sealing property of the main lip due to dust biting is suppressed.SOLUTION: In the sealing device having the main lip that suppresses leakage of a fluid sealed on an internal side and the dust lip that suppresses intrusion of dust from an external side, where the main lip and the dust lip are aligned in an axial direction, an external side slope of the main lip is provided with a spiral projection or recess for pushing back the dust to the external side by a pumping action that is caused when a shaft rotates so that the dust intruding into the space part between the lips is prevented from reaching the rip end of the main lip. |
