PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine which performs the supercharging applicable for increasing and decreasing a load applied to a vehicle, to provide the vehicle which mounts the internal combustion engine and to provide a method of controlling the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine is provided with an S/C 15 and a T/C 14 and arranges a load sensor S1 for detecting a traction load W1 of a trailer 3 pulled by a semitrailer 1 on a coupler 5a. When the traction load W1 is larger than a predetermined traction determination value Wn, the composite supercharging by means of the S/C 15 and the T/C 14 is performed and, when the traction load W1 is the traction determination value Wn or less, the single supercharging by means of only the T/C 14 is performed. |
