PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce harsh feeling caused by noise, without increasing cost.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises: a supply device 2 configured to feed a plurality of sheet materials S to a conveyance path R1, one by one, at a set supply cycle; a plurality of rotation bodies 31, etc., configured to convey the sheet materials fed to the conveyance path R1; and a controller configured to calculate a difference value between the time required for a proceeding sheet material to reach a first place where noise occurs on the conveyance path R1 and the time required for a processing target sheet material to reach a second place where noise occurs on the conveyance path R1, alter the supply cycle in the supply device 2 if the calculated difference value is beyond a predetermined time, and cause the processing target sheet material to reach the second place where noise occurs on the conveyance path within a predetermined time after the proceeding sheet material reaches the first place where noise occurs on the conveyance path R1. |
