PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing sharp sourness and irritating smell (acidity) in acetic acid containing food and drink and to provide the acetic acid containing food and drink having reduced acidity, excellent taste quality and flavor with the method.SOLUTION: The acetic acid containing food and drink comprises 0.45 to 33.1 mass%, in solid content, of sirup containing rare sugar. Alternatively, 3 to 100 mass% of the total saccharide used as an ingredient of the food and drink is replaced with the sirup containing rare sugar. Thereby, the acetic acid containing food and drink has not only reduced peculiar sharp acidity and irritating smell (acidity) in the acetic acid containing food and drink but also additional body taste and natural sweetness. There can be provided the acetic acid containing food and drink having excellent flavor and taste quality. |
