PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating roller superior in temperature uniformity and thermal responsiveness.SOLUTION: A heating roller 1 is constituted by arranging a cylindrical cast-in heater 6 formed by casting a sheath heater 5 into a substrate 3 made of an aluminum alloy, in contact with an inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical roller body 2 which has an outer peripheral surface as a heating surface and is made of carbon steel. The cast-in heater 6 is fixed to the roller body 2 on both sides by fixing members 7, and annular projecting portions 9 and 9 of the fixing members 7 and 7 are fitted to recessed portions 8 and 8 at both ends, which are formed because the cast-in heater 6 is shorter than the roller body 2, and further, the cast-in heater 6 is fixed by mounting a whirl-stop bolt 10. |
