PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic water faucet which suppresses unintended change-over into water cutoff due to use at the edge of a detection region.SOLUTION: An automatic water faucet 1 for selecting water discharge or water cutoff depending on the detection result of a detection part 4 for detecting an object, performs the water discharge when the detection result shows not lower than a first threshold value, and the water cutoff when it shows lower than the first threshold value. It includes a notification part for performing notifying operation depending on the detection result. The notification part performs first water discharge notifying operation when the detection result shows not lower than the first threshold value and lower than a second threshold value during the water discharge, and performs second water discharge notifying operation when the detection result shows not lower than the second threshold value during the water discharge. Thus, unintended change-over into the water cutoff due to use at the edge of a detection region E3 (an output value is lower than the second threshold value) can be easily suppressed, and the water discharge can be easily continued. |
