FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention represents a new diagnostic technique based on the detection of protein molecules being antibodies to a specific and sensitive combination of tumour associated glycans with underlying the patient's individual characteristics. The given invention can find application in immunology and medicine for the study and diagnosis of breast cancer. The diagnostic technique for breast cancer involves detecting the human blood antibodies to the following glycans: Man?1-4GlcNAc?, Gal?1-4G1cNAc?1-6(Gal?1-3)GalNAc?, HOCH2(HOCH)4CH2NH2, GlcA?, Gal?, 6-O-Su-GlcNAc?, GalNAc?1-3Gal?, 6-O-Su-Gal?1-4(6-O-Su)Glc?, GlcA?1-SGa1?, Neu5Ac?2-3Gai?1-4Glc?, GlcNAc?1-3Gal?1-3GalNAc?, Neu5Ac?2-3Gal?1-3GalNAc?, Neu5Ac?2-3Gal?1-3(Fuc?1l-4)GlcNAc?, Gai?1-4GlcNAc?1-3(GlcNAc?1-6)Gai?1-4GlcNAc?, Neu5Ac?2-6(Gal?1-3)GlcNAc?1-3Gal?1-4Glc? with using a microchip with applied glycans; if the blood antibody level turns out to be higher than a threshold value to the above glycans simultaneously, breast cancer is diagnosed.EFFECT: method enables improving the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity in breast cancer.1 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
