PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that performs an operation corresponding to a user voice in conjunction with an external server; an electronic device that can control peripherals by a user voice; an interactive system; and a method of controlling them.SOLUTION: An electronic device of the present invention includes: a storage unit that stores peripheral control information in which a remote control signal for controlling peripherals of a display device and a control signal corresponding to a user voice are matched; a voice collection unit that collects the user voice; a communication unit that transmits the collected user voice to the display device and receives the control signal corresponding to the user voice from the display device; an IR transmission unit that transmits the remote control signal for controlling the peripherals; and a control unit that when receiving the control signal from the display device, controls the IR transmission unit so as to transmit a remote control signal, which corresponds to the received control signal out of remote control signals stored in the storage unit, to the peripherals.
