PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment method that can surely remove oxide films formed on a surface member, and can raise quality of nano carbon films formed on the surface member.SOLUTION: Diluted sulfuric acid R is applied to a surface Ka of a steel member K, which is then heat-treated with organic gas under a nitriding condition where a nitride layer is formed on the surface of the member. This treatment forms a nano-carbon film C including at least one kind of nano carbons selected from a group consisting of carbon nano coil, carbon nanotube and carbon nano filament on the surface Ka of a surface layer H while a nitride layer Hc and a sulphurizing layer Hb is formed on the surface Ka of the surface layer H. |
