摘要 PURPOSE:To ensure the drive of an unmanned carrier with no temporary stop even at the front of the blockade sections of junction and branch points, etc., by providing a guide line at the entrance of the blockade section to give permission for drive into the corresponding blockade section. CONSTITUTION:The currents of frequencies f1 and f2 flow to the electromagnetic guide lines 22a, 22b and 23 respectively and therefore these guide lines are always kept on. While the electromagnetic guide lines 24 and 25 set at the front of the junction and branch points are always kept off. An unmanned carrier 21A travels toward a point 2C from a point 2A and reaches the position of a ground sensor 31. Under such conditions, the sensor 31 detects an on-vehicle sensor and a ground controller received said detection output checks presence or absence of the unmanned carrier within the corresponding blocked section. Then the line 24 is turned on when absence of the unmanned carrier is confirmed within said section. Thus the carrier can travel with no stoppage. While the line 24 is kept off and the carrier is stopped in case absence of the carrier is confirmed.
