PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component that prevents what is called a bleed, in which a resin covering an integrated circuit element flows along an inner side surface of a cavity to cover a surface of an external connection terminal.SOLUTION: A crystal oscillator 10 as the electronic component includes: an integrated circuit element 21 as a circuit element; a package 11 as a substrate mounted with the integrated circuit element 21 and provided with terminals 22; an underfill (resin) 31 disposed at least between the integrated circuit element 21 and the package 11; and resin stop parts 30 disposed on a first surface 23 of a first substrate 20 constituting the package which forms surfaces that are between the integrated circuit element 21 and the terminals 22 and, in a plan view, face in the same direction as the plane of the terminals 22.
