PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector in which reduction in sealing force of a sealant is prevented even if external force such as major thermal stress or flexure is applied so that an excellent sealing force can be maintained.SOLUTION: A waterproof connector comprises: an electric wire 1 in which a core wire 10 is covered with an insulated covering layer 12 and the core wire 10 is exposed from the insulated covering layer 12; a terminal 24 attached to the electric wire 1 with the exposed core wire 10 connected thereto; and a housing 30 in which the electric wire 1 and the terminal 24 are arranged inside thereof. A sealant is cast into the housing 30, and an exposed portion 15 of the core wire 10 is sealed when the cast sealant is cured. The elastic modulus of the sealant after curing at -40°C is 1,000 MPa or lower. |
