PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device that allows space within a hoistway to be efficiently used by decentrally installing a controller on a plurality of areas in the hoistway.SOLUTION: The elevator device comprises: an overhead beam installed over an elevator car in a hoistway; at least one overhead pulley that is installed in lateral space formed between a lateral face of the elevator car in a predetermined direction and a lateral face wall of the hoistway in a predetermined direction and borne so as to rotate toward the overhead beam; a turning pulley borne so as to rotate downwardly between a drive sheave and the overhead pulley; a main rope having a first part located between a pulley for the elevator car and the overhead pulley, a second part located between the turning pulley and the overhead pulley and a third part located between the turning pulley and the drive sheave; and a control section having a first control section arranged between the first part and the second part and a second control section supported by the overhead beam. |
