The device has a suction device (80), and a transfer tube (1) including a suction tube (10) with an open end (12) that is intended for suction of the powder (2). A sleeve surrounds the suction tube on a level of the open end, and delimits a channel with the suction tube. The sleeve includes an opening presented on the level of the open end of the suction tube. The sleeve presents another opening (24) between the former opening and another end of the tube. A sealing valve (50) controls the latter opening of the sleeve. An independent claim is also included for a method for transfer of powder.
