The present invention relates to a head for an LED street light capable of not only being easy to carry or assemble, but also directing various sizes, designs and light intensities. An existing head for an LED street light is not easy to carry or install and has a problem that the whole has to be separated when LEDs are exchanged or repaired. To solve the problem, provided in the present invention is the head for the LED street light comprising: a unit module installing therein a light emitting member provided with terminal pins; a connecting rod forming a plurality of connecting terminals spaced apart therefrom and electrically connected to the terminal pins of the light emitting member; and a column coupling member connected to the connecting terminals of the connecting rod for forming a power supply terminal to supply the power source to the light emitting member. Therefore, the present invention is easy to carry or assemble by prefabricating each component and reduces maintenance costs by preventing the whole from being separated when the LEDs are repaired or exchanged. Additionally, the present invention can not only direct various designs or light intensities by increasing or decreasing the number of the unit modules, but also can avoid complex wiring and be easy to install by being connected to the light emitting member via the connection rod and supplying the power source to the light emitting member. |
