PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser joining method that has sufficient strength although minimizing a thermal influence.SOLUTION: Joint parts (intermediate weld beads) 10A which are not continuous, but intermittent are formed by carrying out irradiation so that the optical axis of laser light 103 emitted from a laser irradiation part 102 moves on a superposition part of a joined material V1 on an irradiation side and a joined material V2 where a thermal influence is undesirable as two joined materials. When a temperature of the joined material V2 on the opposite side from the irradiated surface reaches a predetermined temperature, the irradiation with the laser light 103 is quit and accumulated heat is dissipated, so that the temperature falls. The irradiation is restarted a certain time (distance) later and when the temperature of the joined material V2 on the opposite side from the irradiated surface reaches the predetermined temperature, the irradiation is repeatedly quit so as to form intermittent weld beads 10B, 10C. After weld beams of an outer peripheral shape are thus formed, intermittent weld beats 20A, 20B, and 20C of an inner periphery are formed and the distance P between the outer periphery and inner periphery becomes shorter each time the operation is repeated. |
