Provided is a load sensor which does not easily cause a hysteresis error. A magnetic load sensor (1) comprises: a flange member (2); a support member (3) that supports the flange member (2) axially from behind; a magnetic target (4) that is affixed to the flange member (2); and a magnetic sensor (5) that is affixed to the support member (3), and detects the magnitude of a load on the basis of magnetic flux detected by the magnetic sensor (5). The magnetic load sensor adopts a configuration in which a load action surface (6) to which the load of the flange member (2) is applied is formed at a position offset axially backward with respect to the front surface (7) in the axial direction of the flange member (2). |
