PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a chlorinated vinyl chloride-based resin, which can obtain the chlorinated vinyl chloride-based resin that enables at least one of suppressing initial coloring when thermally molded and improving thermal stability.SOLUTION: The method for producing the chlorinated vinyl chloride-based resin includes irradiating the inside of a reaction vessel into which a vinyl chloride-based resin and chlorine are introduced, with ultraviolet rays, thereby chlorinates a vinyl chloride-based resin, and obtains the chlorinated vinyl chloride-based resin. The ultraviolet rays are irradiated by using at least one light source selected from the group consisting of an ultraviolet LED, an organic EL, an inorganic EL and an ultraviolet laser. |
