PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve future-oriented power generation from a natural energy source in place of nuclear power generation without using fossil fuel in order to make up for domestic power shortage.SOLUTION: In a future-oriented power generation base and a large independent float type generator generating power using upward and downward motion of a large wave in an ocean, a mother ship which has a cylindrical shape like a submarine with a diameter of 15 m and a length of 60 m is submerged at a depth of 5 m to avoid direct hit by a wave and has hooks at 15 m intervals to anchor the mother ship by tension of ropes extended from independent seabed foundations. A maximum possible number of large stand-alone float type generators are arranged around the mother ship. A submerged section of the large independent float type generator is made of a submerged float 7 having the diameter of 5 m and a height of 10 m. The submerged float 7 has a weight 8 for a buoyancy adjustment at a lower section thereof and a core pole 9 (with the diameter of 1 m and the length of 25 m), which is provided with horizontal grooves for gear wheels, erected at an upper section thereof. The large independent float type generator is anchored in a manner that adjusts a center of the core pole at a mean sea surface height 6 and pulls the lower section of the weight with the rope extended from the independent seabed foundation 14. |
