A mountain climbing machine without external power. A front roller or rear roller (2) is connected with a generator (3), and the generator (3) is connected with an electronic load and/or storage battery (6) through a control circuit (7). Further disclosed is a speed adjustment method for the mountain climbing machine. An end of a running belt (4) bends up to form a certain slope with the ground, the running belt (4) rotates by using human weight as power, the front roller or rear roller (2) arranged with the front roller or rear roller (2) is connected with the generator (3), when the running belt (4) rotates, the generator (3) generates electricity to generate electrical energy, and the rotating speed of the generator (3) is controlled by consuming the electrical energy, so that the generator (3) applies resistance on the front roller or rear roller (2) connected with the generator (3), to keep the running belt (4) rotating at a constant speed. |
