PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for manufacturing a gear wheel, capable of obtaining a gear wheel having high transfer efficiency at low cost.SOLUTION: A work gear wheel 1 and a gear wheel-shaped die 2 are meshed with each other while having a crossed axes angle therebetween, whereby, when the work gear wheel 1 and the die 2 are rotated, a slippage S3, in which a slippage S1 in a tooth profile direction and a slippage S2 in a tooth trace direction of the work gear wheel 1 are put together, is generated at a meshing part 5 between the work gear wheel 1 and the die 2. As a result, a gear wheel having a tooth flank 3 with a preferable surface quality (surface roughness) and exerting high transfer efficiency is obtained at low cost. |
