The present invention relates to a gravity casting method for pouring a molten metal into a mold comprising a lower part having a cavity in an inside, and an upper part having a shrink head in an inside, and for pressurizing a molten metal poured into the cavity by a molten metal poured into the shrink head since the cavity and the shrink head are opened. The gravity casting method comprises: a step for pouring a molten metal into an inside of the mold; and a step for covering an upper side of the upper part with a chamber cap to form a sealed space over the upper part. An incision hole is formed in the upper part in order to expose a molten metal injected into an inside to air inside the chamber cap. According to the present invention, a capacity of a molten metal can be reduced by increasing internal pressure by using thermal energy which was wasted in a conventional method. In other words, a collect rate can be increased. |
