Disclosed are a method for executing an application in interlock with a pair device and performing payment, and a digital system therefor. The method for executing an application in interlock with a pair device and performing payment according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: enabling a digital system to perform near-field communication with a certain pair device; enabling the digital system to execute a certain application which is predetermined to correspond to the pair device in response to the performed near-field communication; and, if a predetermined request for payment is inputted by a user during the execution of the application, enabling the digital system to control the payment corresponding to the request for payment such that the payment can be performed using, as a payment means, a pair payment means corresponding to the pair device with which the digital system performed near-field communication.
