PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device capable of extending a life of a cylindrical member.SOLUTION: A fixation device includes: a fixation belt 100 (cylindrical member) having flexibility; a first fixation member arranged inside the fixation belt 100; and a second fixation member that holds the fixation belt 100 between itself and the first fixation member. The fixation belt 100 has a metallic element tube 110 and a coating layer formed on an outer peripheral surface of the element tube 110. In the outer peripheral surface of the element tube 110, ten-point average roughness of a first area 111 that faces a sheet S transported between the fixation belt 100 and the second fixation member is larger than 3 μm, and ten-point average roughness of a second area 112 outside of the first area 111 in a crosswise direction of the sheet S is 3 μm or smaller. |
