PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device capable of extending an output hold period of a control power supply in order to enable, during blackout, at least one of: retraction of a driven body connected to a motor to a zone to prevent interference with an article; and stopping of the motor to prevent interference of the driven body connected to the motor with the article.SOLUTION: When a three-phase AC power supply 1 is shut off, a motor control device 10 turns off a switch 18 in a case where: the power stored in a DC link part 3 is larger than any of first power, second power and the sum of the first and second power, where the first power is power required to stop a motor 5 for preventing interference of a driven body 6 with an article, and where the second power is power required for retraction to a zone where the driven body 6 does not interfere with the article; and power that can be supplied by a control power supply 11 is smaller than a total of power required to drive a monitor 12 and a cooling fan 14 and power required to drive the motor control device 10. |
