An electrical power converter (1) includes: AC voltage terminals (U, V, W); DC voltage terminals (P, N); a serial bank of converter cells in which one or more converter cells (10) are connected in series between the AC voltage terminals (U, V, W) and the DC voltage terminals (P, N), the converter cells (10) provided with a semiconductor element and a capacitor; and first inductances (301) connected in series to the serial bank of converter cells between the AC voltage terminals (U, V, W) and the DC voltage terminal positioned lowest to the ground among the DC voltage terminals (P, N). |
