The helmet (H) has a shell (1) and a closing mechanism that includes a chin-strap (4) that is coupled to a check belt (5) that positions the chin-strap in securing position. The check belt is connected to a close lever that is swinged between two positions. The check belt is pulled by the close lever during closed position of the close lever. The close lever is integrated into the shell. The ends of check belt are secured and the check belt is firmly bonded at the shell. The check belt passes through the close lever.
