PURPOSE: A primer or probe for amplifying HLA B27 or B51 genotype is provided to ensure high sensitivity and specificity. CONSTITUTION: A primer or probe for amplifying HLA B27 or B51 genotype contains a base of sequence numbers 1-6. The primer or probe with a base among sequence numbers 1-3 is used for amplifying HLA B27 genotype. The primer or probe with a base among sequence numbers 4-6 is used for amplifying HLA B51 genotype. A method for diagnosing HLA B27 or B51 genotype comprises: a step of extracting DNA from blood; and a step of amplifying the DNA by RT-PCR using the primer or probe.
