PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head that can discharge liquid from a discharge opening thereof even though the discharge opening differs in arrangement conformation from a pressure chamber thereof.SOLUTION: The liquid discharge head comprises: a plurality of discharge openings 309; and a plurality of pressure chambers 307, communicated with each discharge opening 309 and arranged in a first direction and a second direction crossing each other, that have a first electrode formed on an inner wall surface therein. The head also comprises: a piezoelectric body block 303 that has a plurality of pressure chambers 307, and a plurality of air chambers 308, alternately arranged with the plurality of pressure chambers 307 in the first direction and the second direction, that have a second electrode formed on an inner wall surface therein; an orifice plate 304 having the plurality of discharge openings 309 arranged; and a plate-like member 401, arranged between the piezoelectric body block 303 and the orifice plate 304, through which a plurality of flow channels 402, which communicate individually the open end of each pressure chamber 307 with each discharge opening 309, penetrate. |
