PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a decrease in patient's incentive to fight against a disease.SOLUTION: An information providing device 100 identifies the number of confirmation candidate days such that a report result in which a patient represents whether a disease is critical may have an error using the report result. Then the information providing device 100 determines the number of confirmation days for urging the patient to confirm whether the report result is correct among the numbers of confirmation candidate days on the basis of the number of confirmation candidate days and a failure rate. The failure rate represents a rate at which the disease becomes critical on each day. The information providing device 100 determines, for example, the smaller number of confirmation days as the failure rate is higher. Specifically, the number of confirmation days for patient's confirmation is made small for a patient who has many failure days and is under a serious condition. The number of confirmation days is displayed on a computer device installed in medical treatment facilities or the like. A patient checks the displayed number of confirmation days and corrects the number of confirmation days with a responsible doctor. |
