PURPOSE: A clamping unit for an injection molding machine is provided to closely fix a tie bar to a fixing plate by using a fixing ring for a tie bar so that multiple tie bars are installed to have a same length with high precision, thereby improving the precision of injection work. CONSTITUTION: A clamping unit for an injection molding machine comprises a tie bar (490), a fixing ring for a tie bar (230), a nut cover (180) and a fixing bolt (140). The tie bar is inserted in the mounting hole of a fixing plate (160) and a protrusion is formed in the outer periphery. The fixing ring for a tie bar is combined in a joint groove and supports the fixing plate. The nut cover is installed at the end of the tie bar. The fixing bolt fixes the nut cover on the fixing plate. |
