The filter element (10) has tubular support housing (12) that is comprised of a fibrous filter material (11) including glass fibers, ceramic fibers, and high temperature wools such as aluminum silicate wool and/or alkaline earth silicate wool. The support housing is comprised of metallic material like steel and/or stainless steel, and perforated plate or an expanded metal. The support housing is integrally formed of multiple openings (13) having same size in the outside wall. An independent claim is included for a cleaning apparatus for filtering particles from hot gas. |
