<p>The detection device (10) has a functional unit (12) for transmitting and receiving signals. The functional unit has additional functional elements (13.1,13.2,14.1,14.2) whose signal inputs are subject to comparison to determine an associative signal occurrence. The configuration of transmission/reception range to road surface to be detected is performed when signals are absent in one of the functional elements, so that the corresponding functional element receives the reflections when functioning. An independent claim is included for method of detection in motor vehicle.</p> |
