A secondary battery is disclosed. The secondary battery comprises: a first electrode assembly having first and second electrode plates arranged on each other; and a second electrode assembly having third and fourth electrode plates which are coiled together along the outer circumference of the first electrode assembly by taking the first electrode assembly as the coiling center. According to the present invention, a secondary battery with high energy density which prevents damage to the electrode plates is provided. |
