PURPOSE: An advertisement system through an advertisement area call of an application of a smart phone and a method thereof are provided to minimize user inconvenience corresponding to advertisement exposure by not generating time delays corresponding to a network connection attempt to a server. CONSTITUTION: An add-on advertisement processing module attempts access to a server through a network by using access information of a stored server(S210). The add-on advertisement processing module provides identification information of a smart phone and identification information of an application to the server(S220). The add-on advertisement processing module stores advertisement data by receiving the advertisement data from the server(S230). The advertisement data is displayed on an advertisement service area while displaying the application of the smart phone on a screen(S240). The advertisement service area is displayed on the screen by performing slide in processing(S250). The add-on advertisement processing module updates the stored advertisement data by receiving advertisement data from the server through the network at constant time intervals(S260).
