PURPOSE: A rubber composition for tire tread is provided to increase modulus and stiffness with maintaining processability to similar level with existing rubber composition for tread, thereby having excellent fuel efficiency, and improving high speed traveling performance. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition for tire tread comprises 100.0 parts by weight of crude rubber, 5-15 parts by weight of maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene. The maleic anhydride graft polyethylene is in chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, x is 2-1000, y is 2-400. The crude rubber comprises 10-30 parts by weight of natural rubber, 40-60 parts by weight of butyl rubber, and 40-60 parts by weight of synthetic rubber. The rubber composition comprises 10-90 parts by weight of silica, and 10-90 parts by weight of carbon black, based on 100.0 parts by weight of the crude rubber. |
