PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out double-sided recording with a throughput decrease suppressed, even when a pigment ink is used in an inkjet recording device. SOLUTION: When a high-speed recording mode is determined in double-sided recording (S303, S305), color separation is carried out by using a color separation table for the double-sided recording (S307). The color separation table for the double-sided recording prevents a placement amount of a pigment Bk ink from increasing so much in comparison with the case of single-sided recording as the color approaches black of the maximum density. Consequently a placement amount of each ink of C, M and Y of substitution dyes increases. The placement amount of the pigment Bk ink when high-speed recording is carried out in the double-sided recording is reduced, so that a fixing time can be shortened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
