PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a calculation processing amount in a multi-static radar receiver. SOLUTION: An apparatus for sensing an incoming wave includes: a RF processing unit 3 for receiving a plurality of electric waves from a plurality of channels with different frequency bands; frequency conversion units 5-1, 5-2, 5-3 for frequency-converting the plurality of electric waves into the same low frequency bands, respectively; an addition unit 6 for adding the plurality of frequency-converted electric waves to obtain addition signals; and an estimation unit 7 for sensing incoming waves using characteristic value analysis of correlation matrixes of the addition signals.
