The present invention relates to a method for producing butyric acid by cultivating bacteria using electrochemical reducing power and carbon dioxide as an energy source and the only carbon source, respectively for growth in a bioelectrochemical reactor and, more specifically, to a method for producing butyric acid through the culture of strains of the genus Clostridium in the bioelectrochemical reactor using the electrochemical reducing power and carbon dioxide as the energy source and the only carbon source is provided, thereby providing an economical production method and being used for removing carbon dioxide, which is a greenhouse gas. |
