This disclosure relates to temperature-responsive co-polymers, such as poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-hydroxypropyl methacrylate-co-3-trimethoxysilypropyl methacrylate). The disclosure also relates to polymeric films formed from these co-polymers and particular applications of these polymeric films, particularly in the cell culture field. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to the use of these polymeric films in the cell culture field to provide a means of controlling cellular adhesion to, and detachment from, the surface of a cell culture support substrate. |
